CAWI invites nominations for board members who will guide advocacy initiatives. We are looking for individuals with a passion for gender equity and someone who self-identifies as a woman, non-binary, or Two-Spirit. Ideal candidates will possess skills in finance, advocacy, and governance, and be dedicated to representing marginalized communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help define CAWI’s advocacy direction
• Attend monthly board meetings regularly
• Engage in strategic planning and implementation
• Participate actively in sub-committees
• Stay informed on municipal and organizational matters
Requirements:
• Passion for gender equality and social justice
• Identify as a cis or trans woman, non-binary, or two-spirit
• Experience in finance or advocacy
• Belong to underrepresented communities
• Commitment to volunteer work with CAWI
