Dawson Civil is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to maintain safety and efficiency in Princeton, BC. Join a team dedicated to building vital infrastructure while operating heavy machinery safely.
In this full-time temporary role, you'll report to the General Superintendent, Civil, and ensure that infrastructure projects such as roads and bridges are completed to high standards. With your experience, you'll be instrumental in meeting production objectives and adhering to strict safety protocols, all while working a rotating 14/7 schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safe operation of heavy machinery in a mining workplace
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
• Follow engineering plans and safety regulations accurately




• Conduct ground disturbance assessments and hazard evaluations
• Engage in daily and weekly safety meetings
Requirements:
• Minimum three years operating heavy equipment, especially GPS excavators
• Preferably two years of experience in road construction or mining
• Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Familiarity with road construction processes and materials
• Ground Disturbance certification is a plus
