Basis Technologies’ creative Engineering team designs and develops new features and integrations for Basis, our industry‑leading, comprehensive software solution. Our platform processes over 400 billion events per day and uses AI and machine learning to automate and simplify the entire digital campaign process.The Production Operations team is responsible for building and operating the distributed infrastructure that powers our real‑time systems. We focus on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence, ensuring our services remain highly available and performant at global scale.WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTEReporting into the Director/Manager, Production Operations, you will partner with the Production Operations Team and will be responsible for engineering Basis DSP production and service systems. You will also contribute by:Design, implement, and maintain highly available distributed infrastructure supporting the Basis DSP platformOperate and optimize systems processing hundreds of billions of daily transactionsDrive automation and infrastructure‑as‑code practices to improve operational efficiencyImprove observability, monitoring, and alerting across critical production systemsPerform performance analysis and system tuning across Linux,



networking, and application layersLead incident investigation, root cause analysis, and reliability improvementsEnsure security, resiliency, and scalability across infrastructure and servicesPartner with software engineering teams to improve system reliability and deployment processesParticipate in an on‑call rotation supporting production systemsWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLEYour passion about technology5+ years of hands‑on experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability EngineeringStrong Linux systems expertise (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS or similar)Experience designing and operating large‑scale distributed systemsExperience with infrastructure automation and configuration management (e.G., Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack)Strong understanding of system scalability and high availability architectures (clustering, partitioning, load balancing)Experience troubleshooting complex production issues across system, network, and application layersProgramming or scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar)Experience operating database systems (MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra)Experience with monitoring, observability, and alerting systemsExperience managing infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS, GCP)

Final compensation offered will depend on your location, experience, and skills.
