The work location for this role is on-site in Niagara, ON.You as a M&E SuperintendentResponsibilitiesReview and understand M&E contracts and project requirementsDevelop watermain and sanitary ERP plansSupport M&E design-assist efforts with engineers and consultantsPlan, direct, and coordinate in office mechanical and electrical activities to meet specifications, schedules,
and applicable codesLead M&E requirements during project start-upWork with Area Superintendents to develop and align M&E 3-week lookahead schedulesReview and provide input into overall project schedules for M&E scopesOversee M&E budgets, billing, and invoicing processesAttend and lead regular coordination and progress meetingsSupervise and coordinate M&E activities alongside Superintendents and project teamsManage M&E contractors through submittal reviews, resolving engineering and field conflictsOversee contractor performance on-site in alignment with their scopes of workReview contractor submittals, ITPs, QA/QC programs, and execution plans, providing input and feedbackCoordinate M&E trades with other construction disciplinesConduct regular inspections of M&E work to ensure quality and complianceComplete daily reports, safety inspections, PSAs, and QA/QC auditsLead and coordinate all M&E commissioning activities with MEIT staff, commissioning teams, contractors, and agentsIdentify, track, and ensure timely resolution of deficienciesMentor and develop MEIT staff, Assistant Superintendents, and Superintendents in M&E field executionDelegate and manage work through both direct and indirect leadershipIdentify and mitigate risks to M&E execution related to civil, structural, and architectural readinessQualificationsYou have 10+ years of experience managing M&E field-related scopes on construction projectsYou bring advanced knowledge of construction disciplines, including safety regulations, scheduling,
