In this permanent part time role, you will be a key player in the Neurophysiology Department, monitoring multiple patients and ensuring their safety during crucial EEG events. You will utilize your skills in patient safety, equipment operation, and documentation to support clinical workflows and optimize patient experiences. This position also involves teaching and contributing to educational programs within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and identify seizure events across multiple patients
• Operate and troubleshoot EEG equipment
• Prepare hand-off reports detailing seizure activity




• Participate in teaching and training activities
• Adhere to hospital policies and maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements:
• Completion of a community college diploma program
• Experience in digital EEG, Video EEG, or polysomnography
• Understanding of electrical safety standards
• Ability to multitask effectively in a high-stakes environment
• Strong decision-making skills for patient interventions
