Make a difference for Temporary Foreign Workers with CCIS in Drumheller, Alberta. As a Rural Community Outreach Worker, you will advocate and enhance their integration experience.
In this part-time role at Calgary Catholic Immigration Society, you’ll focus on facilitating the well-being of migrant workers and their families. Your responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, organizing outreach events, and delivering essential workshops. You will work closely with local businesses to establish robust support networks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement community outreach activities
• Assess client needs and provide tailored support
• Facilitate information sessions about rights




• Engage with local organizations for partnership building
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of client interactions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or similar
• Previous work with newcomers and TFWs advantageous
• Solid understanding of rural community dynamics
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; positive organizational skills
• Driver’s license and personal vehicle required
