This role is execution‑focused and requires someone comfortable with physical lab work, experimental setup, sampling, and structured data reporting.The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Process Engineer and play a key role in advancing leaching performance and metallurgical understanding.What You’ll DoColumn Leaching OperationsSample preparation, charge, and operate column leaching systemsManage irrigation systems and monitor flow ratesCollect and log PLS samplesMonitor and control leaching parameters (pH, ORP, temperature, acid consumption, irrigation rate)Perform solid and solution sampling for analysisAssist with ore preparation (drying, crushing, homogenizing, screening)Maintain accurate experimental records and logsSupport troubleshooting of leaching systemsMaintain laboratory cleanliness and safety standardsData Analysis & ReportingCompile and interpret ICP and assay dataCalculate copper recovery, acid consumption, and mass balancesTrack leaching kinetics and performance trendsPrepare structured weekly technical summaries and reportsPresent findings and observations to senior engineersWhat You’ll NeedBSc. or MSc. in Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing or Mining Engineering3–6 years of relevant experience in hydrometallurgy or mineral processingHands‑on experience with: Column leaching or heap leaching simulation,
