Responsibilities

- Produce plans and documents required by project managers and representatives.
- Develop installation drawings based on consultant or client plans, following Solotech standards.
- Create single‑line drawings, block diagrams, equipment cabinet elevations, patch details, cable numbering, custom parts, and element placement in 2D and occasionally 3D.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to understand client needs.
- Prepare manufacturing plans, specifications, and production guidelines for custom items.
- Ensure drawings meet Solotech and industry standards and requirements.
- Manage administrative tasks related to draft plans.
- Recommend best practices for plan creation.

Qualifications

- A college diploma in architectural, industrial, or related design, or equivalent experience.




- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Strong knowledge of electronics and a variety of audio and video wiring.
- Experience in the audiovisual industry is an asset.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2010 or newer.
- Knowledge of other CAD software such as Vectorworks, Solidworks, or Revit is a plus.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work within deadlines and manage pressure.
- Attention to detail, diplomacy, and organization.
- Robust relational, interpersonal, and client‑facing skills.
- Adaptability, teamwork, resourcefulness, and autonomy.
- Bilingual in French and English.
