We are currently looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the position of Forklift Operator. The Forklift Operator prepares loads and unloads building materials in the warehouse through the secure operation of a lift truck. Together with other team members, the Forklift Operator works to exceed customer expectations. The wage range is $22 - $26.75 per hour (Tier 1; $22 - $24, Tier 2; $24 - $26.75).

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily inspections of lift trucks and complete required forms.




- Ensurelift truck maintenance and servicing requirements are met.
- Build orders to required specifications for delivery.
- Load and unload building materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Check load contents for accuracy and secure materials.
- Ensure that all products are shipped on schedule and according to specific instructions by management to meet customer demands.
- Maintain contact with supervisors and work to resolve issues as they arise.
- Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
- Follow all regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Basic Qualifications

- Valid forklift certification (propane) .
- Minimum of two years' experience.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics.
- Basic hand tool skills.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Sitting and driving for longs periods of time.
- Frequently climbing up and down stairs.
- Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movementswith weight.
