Empower vulnerable youth as a Community Youth Navigator at CMHA Kelowna. This full time role involves outreach, resource navigation, and skill-building support.
In this 12-month term position, you'll assist youth aged 16-24 in the Central Okanagan. Through one-on-one support and group facilitation, you'll promote independence and community integration. Collaboration with health and social service providers will help tailor effective case plans and resources for participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct interviews to identify participant needs
• Collaborate with service providers for tailored case plans
• Document needs and guide resource selection
• Advocate for participants' rights and resources
• Facilitate community access to necessary services
Requirements:
• Diploma in Community/Social/Human Services
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience required
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and vehicle
• Must pass Criminal Record Check clearance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
