This full time position focuses on providing care to youth facing behavioral challenges. You will assess needs, develop personalized service plans, and support individual growth through specialized strategies. As a key member of the care team, your role is crucial in ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and establish goals for individuals served
• Teach socially appropriate behaviors through daily routines
• Monitor safety and administer medication as required
• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention
• Maintain accurate reports and logs of activities
Requirements:
• Child and Youth Care Degree or relevant diploma
• Minimum two years of related experience
• Previous knowledge of trauma-informed practices
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
• Certifications in CPR/First Aid and Crisis Intervention
