Join the District of Summerland as the Distribution Coordinator for our Electrical Utility team. Focused on planning electrical distribution projects, your role aims to ensure efficient operations within a safety-conscious environment.
You will report to the Director of Utilities and interact daily with line crews, contractors, and various departments. This is a key position responsible for enhancing the utility's project delivery and service request management. Successful candidates should excel in project coordination, communication, and possess relevant technical qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate overhead and underground distribution works
• Work with internal teams and contractors on project execution




• Manage service requests and maintenance operations
• Contribute to asset management initiatives
• Uphold safety and operational standards for the utility
Requirements:
• Red Seal in Powerlineman or Electrician certification
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Solid project management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Field Safety Representative designation is favorable
