About the Role
The Program Administrator plays a key role in the execution, administration, tracking, and reporting requirements associated with workforce development initiatives, particularly supporting the organization’s Apprenticeship, Job Readiness, and Mill Trainee Programs. This position is responsible for coordinating program administration, monitoring apprentice progression, maintaining accurate training records (including MTCU modules), and ensuring alignment with internal standards and external regulatory requirements. Working closely with Human Resources, Training, and Operations teams, the Program Administrator helps ensure employees are progressing through structured development pathways while meeting compliance and reporting expectations tied to funded workforce development programs. With a strong focus on transparency, accuracy, and consistency, this role contributes directly to workforce development by supporting employees’ growth from entry‑level readiness through to skilled trade progression. This role is a 12‑month contract, located at our Côté Gold Mine Site on a Mon‑Thurs schedule.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and track employee progression through apprenticeship and job readiness programs, ensuring alignment with defined training pathways and milestones
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of MTCU modules, competencies, and training completion within internal systems
- Coordinate the administration of apprenticeship logbooks, training agreements, and documentation to ensure completeness and compliance
- Liaise with Training, Supervisors, and HR to track on‑the‑job hours, competency sign‑offs,
and block training participation
- Support reporting and analytics on program metrics, including completion rates, progression status, and training effectiveness
- Track and monitor job readiness program participants, ensuring progress through required training and readiness benchmarks
- Ensure documentation and processes align with regulatory requirements (e.g., Skilled Trades Ontario, apprenticeship standards) and internal policies
- Provide administrative support for program coordination, including scheduling, communications, and maintaining organized records and files.
Job Qualifications
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Relevant Experience
- 2–4 years of administrative experience, preferably supporting training, workforce development, or HR programs
- Experience working with apprenticeship programs, training systems, or competency‑based development frameworks is considered an asset
- Familiarity with Ontario apprenticeship systems, Skilled Trades Ontario, or MTCU modules is preferred
- Experience maintaining detailed records and tracking program data within HRIS or Learning Management Systems

Salary Range: $70,800–$106,200 + bonus. The final offer is determined based on your individual skills, qualifications, and competencies and aligned with our commitment to internal equity.
