What the Role Does:Turn data into decisions that drive revenue.This is a high impact experimentation and analytics role focused on optimizing LawDepot’s Checkout experience across a large scale global eCommerce platform. You will design and evaluate experiments, apply rigorous statistical thinking, and dive deep into behavioural data to uncover what truly drives user decisions. Your work directly influences conversion rate, subscription valuation, customer behaviour, and long-term revenue growth.This role is based in Edmonton, Alberta, with opportunities for a hybrid work arrangement.What You’ll Do:Explore and analyze both experimental data and day to day user data to understand performance across the Checkout experienceOwn end to end analytical initiatives, identifying and executing on revenue opportunities informed by past experimentation, competitive analysis, and market trendsDesign, evaluate, and monitor controlled experiments, identifying follow up optimization opportunitiesCreate baseline models and establish experiment metrics to measure uplift, validate hypotheses, and inform revenue growth decisionsTranslate behavioural insights into clear business recommendations tied to subscription valuation and monetizationDevelop SQL queries and Python code for data extraction, analysis, and automationDesign dashboards that enable self-service reporting and support decision-makingBuild clear, actionable data visualizations that make insights accessible to stakeholdersApply appropriate statistical and modeling techniques based on the problem and available dataCreate and initiate monetization projects based on learnings from past initiatives, competitive analysis, and market trendsContribute to improving data tracking, event quality, and attribution logic over timeCollaborate with analysts, developers,
and product stakeholders to ensure accurate tracking and measurementPresent findings in weekly team meetings and contribute to prioritization decisionsWhat You Bring:The EssentialsPost secondary education in Data Science, Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related fieldSolid foundation in statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing and interpreting experimental resultsAbility to execute well-scoped analytical tasks and models under minimal guidance, contributing accurate and timely insights to business problemsProficiency in SQL, including writing efficient queries with joins, aggregations, and filtering logicFamiliarity with Python for data analysis and visualization (ex. pandas, Matplotlib)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and data visualizationStrong communication skills and ability to explain complex analysis clearlyProactive mindset with a willingness to take ownershipCuriosity and a natural tendency to dig deeper into unexpected resultsThe Nice to Haves (Great if you have it and we’ll help you learn if you don’t)Experience conducting financial analysis on large datasetsKnowledge of data mining and segmentation techniquesExperience independently managing complex analytical initiativesExperience analyzing and designing A/B experimentsCompensationRange: $60,000 - $80,000 CADPlacement within the range is based on relevant experience, demonstrated skills, unique qualifications, and alignment with the role’s scope and impact.
