This role within the Complex Continuing Care department emphasizes hands-on support and communication with therapists. You will administer programs to clients, such as strength training and mobility exercises, and monitor their progress. Your experience will not only help clients but also involve educating families and staff on equipment usage and care protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer programs from Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist
• Communicate with supervising therapist during client care
• Apply and repair splinting devices and assistive aids




• Educate clients and families on equipment setup and use
• Assist with lifts, transfers, and daily living activities
Requirements:
• Prior experience as an Occupational or Physiotherapy Assistant
• Understanding of therapeutic exercises and client care
• Ability to monitor treatment progress and report effectively
• Familiarity with assistive devices and equipment maintenance
• Effective communication skills in a healthcare setting
