SOURCES seeks a dedicated Behaviour Interventionist in Prince George to engage with young children diagnosed with autism. This role focuses on direct interactions and requires a commitment of up to 20 hours weekly under professional supervision.
As a Behaviour Interventionist at SOURCES, you will provide personalized teaching interventions to children with developmental disorders. You will collaborate with a Behaviour Analyst to ensure effective implementation of behaviour plans while engaging in team discussions and data collection. Commitment to obtaining your Registered Behaviour Technician certification is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on client case management and reporting
• Attend and engage in scheduled team meetings
• Implement individualized teaching methods as per program goals
• Track and record client progress consistently
• Maintain organized client documentation and session notes
Requirements:
• High school diploma; preferred post-secondary education
• Prior experience with children with autism
• Excellent communication abilities
• Availability for at least 12 hours weekly
• Explicit criminal record check required
