The ideal candidate is a hands‑on engineer who can design, build, deploy, and support production‑grade AI‑enabled applications within an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate is for a software engineer who understands CI/CD pipelines, containerization, infrastructure, system reliability, and traditional DevOps tooling.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and maintain web applicationsAPI development and integration of RESTful servicesParticipate in system design discussions and contribute to technical documentationConduct technical research to evaluate tools, frameworks, and best practicesUtilize AI‑powered development tools to improve productivity and code qualityWrite clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following established coding standardsTest, debug and troubleshoot software issuesCreate and maintain CI/CD pipelinesAbility to translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutionsModerate level of interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate across IT and business teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced,



evolving environmentStrong documentation and technical writing skillsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field2 – 5 years of experience in software engineering with exposure to DevOps practices and enterprise application developmentFinancial services or mortgage industry experience is a plusREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCESProficiency in developing and maintaining web applications using React (JavaScript/TypeScript) on the front end and Python (FastAPI) on the back endExperience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps PipelinesExtensive experience architecting, deploying, and managing applications within the Microsoft Azure ecosystemExperience with Git, BitBucket, or similar version control systemsExperience with Docker and containerized application deploymentExtensive development of RESTful web services and APIsFamiliarity with unit testing frameworks and automated testing practicesUnderstanding of infrastructure concepts, deployment pipelines, and production support modelsExperience developing monitoring, logging, and performance tracking mechanisms (e.G. Sentry, PostHog) to ensure reliability and observability of deployed systemsLOCATION AND COMPENSATIONThis role will be based in Toronto,
