Oversee aquatic activities at the City of Cambridge as the Aquatics Supervisor. Enhance community skills through effective swim instruction and safety management.
As a vital contributor to our aquatics programs, you will ensure the safety of participants during swim sessions while providing instruction and supervising staff performance. You will engage with participants to encourage skill development and track progress meticulously.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise pool area during recreational swims
• Teach swimming classes and assist participants
• Complete attendance and progress records
• Follow safety procedures and conduct rescues
• Interact with parents regarding participant development
Requirements:
• At least two years' experience in aquatics
• Certification in National Lifeguarding required
• Lifesaving Swim Instructor certification
• CPR C/AED and Intermediate First Aid certified
• Solid communication and organizational skills
