Our OnX Cloud Architects partner with clients to migrate and modernize workloads onGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP), design secure and scalable architectures, and provide hands‑on expertise throughout project delivery. We leverageGCP‑native services, automation, andInfrastructure as Code (IaC)to build resilient systems that enable data‑driven insights, operational efficiency, and innovation.We help clients accelerate their cloud journey by delivering architectural best practices, migration frameworks, and actionable roadmaps that align business strategy with technology outcomes.Our team works with clients to:Migrate and modernize workloads from on‑premises and other clouds toGoogle Cloud Platform .Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost‑optimizedGCP solutions .Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code frameworks for repeatable and automated deployments.Provide architectural documentation and solution diagrams for clear communication and governance.Design and implement containerized solutions usingGoogle Kubernetes Engine (GKE)and Kubernetes.Create CI/CD pipelines for IaC and application deployments.Deliver consulting and advisory services to guide clients through complex cloud transformation initiatives.ResponsibilitiesAs a Google Cloud Architect, you will:Lead workload migration initiativesPlan and execute migrations from on‑premises and multi‑cloud environments to Google Cloud, including re-host, re-platform, and re-architect strategies.Architect GCP solutionsDesign highly available, secure, and scalable architectures using GCP best practices and theGoogle Cloud Architecture Framework .Produce architectural documentation and diagramsCreate reference architectures, design documents, and deployment guides to support delivery and governance.Implement and optimize Kubernetes and GKE solutionsDesign, deploy, and manage enterprise‑grade container orchestration environments using GKE.Develop IaC frameworksBuild automated deployment pipelines usingTerraform ,Google Cloud Deployment Manager, and infrastructure‑as‑code best practices.Enable CI/CD for IaC and workloadsImplement continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools such asCloud Build ,GitHub Actions ,GitLab CI, or similar platforms.Engage with clients directlyProvide consulting expertise, conduct workshops, and lead solution design discussions with business and technical stakeholders.Stay current on GCP services and trendsRecommend and integrate new Google Cloud services to continuously improve client environments.RequirementsRequiredProven hands‑on experience architecting and deliveringGoogle Cloud Platformsolutions.Strong background in workload migrations from on‑premises and other clouds to GCP.Expertise in Kubernetes andGoogle Kubernetes Engine (GKE)design and operations.Proficiency with IaC tools such asTerraformand Google Cloud‑native provisioning tools.Experience building CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.Solid understanding of:GCP networking (VPCs, Shared VPC, VPN, Interconnect)Identity and Access Management (IAM, service accounts, workload identity)Security, governance, and DevOps practicesHands‑on experience withGCP landing zone architectures(organization, folders, projects, billing, policies).Experience usingGoogle Cloud Operations Suite(formerly Stackdriver) for monitoring, logging, and observability.FinOps experience: ability to review, analyze, and optimizeGCP cloud costs .Strong communication and client‑facing consulting skills.Google Qualified Cloud Architector relevant GCP specialty certifications.4+ years of professional experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or solution delivery.Nice to HaveExperience with hybrid architectures and multi‑cloud strategies.Familiarity with container security, service mesh (e.G.,Anthos Service Mesh / Istio ), and advanced observability solutions.Knowledge of GCP and non‑GCP databases, includingCloud SQL, Spanner, BigQuery, or migrating legacy databases to GCP.Experience with monitoring and logging solutions beyond Cloud Operations (e.G., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch).EducationBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.Preferred: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.Due to U.S. Government requirements applicable to foreign‑owned telecommunications providers, non‑US citizens may be required to submit to an extensive government agency background check which will necessitate disclosure of sensitive Personally Identifiable Information.The pay range for this role is:110,000 - 150,000 CAD per year (OnX Enterprise Solutions Ltd.)#J-18808-Ljbffr
