As a Consultant, you will bring 4+ years of experience in consulting, specifically in Indigenous Rights and interest assessments. Your influence will drive the development of technical outputs while collaborating with Indigenous Nations, clients, and regulatory bodies. This position emphasizes using both Indigenous Knowledge and Western methodologies to create balanced and credible assessment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement rights assessment approaches for federal and provincial regulations
• Conduct data analysis and compile information from various sources
• Assist in preparing key deliverables like impact statements and technical memos
• Maintain organized records and documentation for projects
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams for cohesive outcomes
Requirements:
• 4+ years in regulatory processes related to Indigenous Rights
• Proven experience in technical documentation preparation
• Familiarity with Canadian Indigenous legislation and guidelines
• Excellent writing and communication abilities
• Relevant degree in social sciences or similar field
