Job Description

We are currentlyrecruiting someone for the role of QualityManufacturing Engineering to oversee ourquality metrics and internal auditing programs. Responsiblefor ensuring product and process non-conformances areaddressed through structured CAPA methodologies, this rolerequires a candidate with strong GD&T; proficiency andexperience in a standards-based manufacturing setting.Certification as a CQE or experience with pressure vesselcodes (ASME/CSA B51) is highly regarded.

Base salary:$65,000 - $95,000 / year

Typical DutiesInclude (but are not limited to):

- Develop,implement, and maintain quality assurance processes toensure compliance with regulatory and customerrequirements

- Perform rootcause analysis and lead corrective/preventive actionsfor product or process non-conformances

- Supportmanufacturing operations through process capabilitystudies, control plans, and continuous improvementinitiatives

- Conductinternal and supplier audits to verify adherence tocustomer-specific quality standards

- Collaboratewith cross-functional teams

- Maintain andupdate quality documentation and inspectioncriteria

- Analyzequality metrics and provide regular reports andrecommendations to management

- Participatein external audits from customers and regulatoryagencies

Key SkillRequirements:

- Strongknowledge of quality systems and root cause analysismethodologies

- Experienceinterpreting engineering drawings, GeometricDimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;)

- Proficiency inusing MS Excel, MS Word, and other quality tools andsoftware such as ERP

- Excellentanalytical, problem-solving, and communication skillswith the ability to influence across departments

- Detail-orientedand self-motivated with a continuous improvementmindset

- Flexibility towork on tasks in parallel and adapt when prioritieschange





- Ability todevelop written procedures and instructions incollaboration with manufacturing and QArequirements

KeyExperience/Education:

- Bachelor’sdegree in Manufacturing, Quality, or related Engineeringfield

- 2-5 years ofhands-on experience in a manufacturing qualityengineering role

- Experienceworking in a regulated or standards-based environment.Typical standards are ISO 9001, CSA N299, CSA B51 andCSA N285

- Experience withASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code considered anasset

- CQE (CertifiedQuality Engineer) or related certification considered anasset

- Auditexperience / training considered an asset
