Position SummaryContracts Review Specialist works closely with Stantec lawyers, Project Managers and project staff to review, draft and negotiate contract terms for professional services, ensuring compliance with Stantec policies.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, draft and negotiate contract documents and request for proposals according to Stantec legal and other policies.Identify and communicate to project staff negotiation items and other contract issues that must be resolved between Stantec and their clients, subconsultants and contractors prior to execution of all contracts.Assist with the negotiation of contractual issues with Stantec clients when requested.Review and analyze contract exceptions and modifications submitted by Stantec’s clients.Customize standard contract forms for specific projects when necessary.Keep management informed of contract negotiation status and issues.Enter contract information and other data into database.Capabilities and CredentialsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Access, Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required.Ability to communicate verbally and in writing at a professional-level in English; professional-level French language proficiency is considered an asset.Excellent proofreading skills,
