The College of Community & Global Health is seeking a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Seminar Leader for CHSC 7250 from January 5 to April 30, 2027. In this role, you will consult with students, attend lectures, and assist in marking assignments. Ideal candidates will possess strong English skills and demonstrate an empathetic approach to student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend orientation and course planning meetings
• Consult regularly with students during posted hours
• Prepare instructional materials for various teaching settings
• Mark and provide feedback on students’ work
• Assist in labs and tutorials, while coordinating with supervisors
Requirements:
• Completion of relevant academic studies
• Robust understanding of course material and instruction
• Empathetic and supportive communication skills
• Proficiency in English language
• Availability to work 0-10 hours per week
