About the job Intermediate Electrical DesignerOur client based in Calgary is looking to hire one more electrical designer to complete the team. We are looking for someone that has 3-4 years experience with Revit & AutoCAD within the buildings division sector (Commercial, mixed-use, car dealership, institutional projects background). We do not work on oil and gas projects however, there may be some opportunities for some lighter industrial work.Salary expectation depends on experience but 80-90k possibly a little more for the right candidate. Lots of room for growth and improvement to excel in your career.ResponsibilitiesSet up drawings in both Revit and AutoCADProvide mentorship and guidance to junior staffPrepare layouts, conceptual designs and calculationsAssist in a variety of project support activities including project coordination, strategic planning,



client support, and business analysis supporting the business development and project management departmentsSupport documentation process for projects including technical specifications, tender documents, technical reports and project calculationsInterface with other design disciplines, coordinate with related stakeholders, and assist team leads and managersUpdate drawings from engineers mark ups and red linesCreate drawing layouts, details, and elevationsInterpret and understand basic design for architectural, electrical, and mechanicalParticipate in the updating of our Company Revit and AutoCAD StandardsQuality ControlParticipate in the management and updating of our ManualOther duties as assigned#J-18808-Ljbffr
