Role Description
We are looking for two Event Greeters for our Young at Heart Seniors Expo on September 9, 2026 and Career & Education Expo on September 10, 2026, located G.R Pearkes Recreation Centre - Fieldhouse, Victoria, BC.
Event Greeters will welcome attendees, provide event information, and assist with registration and directions as needed. They will ensure a positive experience for all attendees by delivering excellent customer service and acting as a helpful, approachable point of contact.
The role may also include managing visitor flow, answering inquiries, and contributing to an efficient and pleasant event experience.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities
- Exceptional customer service and customer experience skills
- Skilled phone etiquette and ability to handle inquiries with care
- Friendly and approachable demeanor with a focus on creating positive experiences
- Availability to work on-site at events in Victoria, BC
- Previous experience in event roles or customer-facing position is required
