Aftermarket SAP Migration Data Lead

Position Overview

Responsible for leading SAP data migration and data quality for the oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation (PST) program, focusing on the Opportunity to Cash (O2C) and Record to Report (R2R) workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

- Data migration ownership & stewardship – ensure business‑critical data is accurate, relevant, and aligned with operational needs.
- Business‑driven data profiling – review profiling results to identify business‑impacting issues.
- Define data quality rules – collaborate with DT leads and data owners to establish business rules, acceptable thresholds, and cleansing logic.
- Data cleansing oversight – set criteria for cleansing objects, validate actions, provide business context, and approve final cleansed datasets.
- Legacy data mapping & enrichment – guide mapping of legacy fields to SAP structures and enrich data with missing business attributes.
- Assist with data modeling and applying best practices.
- Validate & sign‑off – review migrated data in SAP S/4HANA, participate in functional testing, and formally sign off on data readiness.
- Ensure integration maintenance with boundary system databases (e.g., Data Lake).
- Change management & communication – educate business users on recent data standards, support training, and promote data ownership culture.
- Documentation & reporting – maintain detailed documentation of data processes and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Monitor the status of submitted user stories, data‑migration tasks, and raise escalations as needed.
- Travel 15–25% to major RTX facilities in the United States during intensive project phases.

Required Qualifications





- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in business, digital, or related field, or an advanced degree and 7 years of experience.
- Experience with mapping business processes, process improvement, and training.
- Strong project management capability – demonstrated ability to lead and manage large, complex digital technology projects.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise influential leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

- 1+ full‑cycle S/4 implementation with data migration.
- Background in ERP or systems transformation.
- Strong technical experience in a complex SAP landscape.
- SQL, Databricks, and/or SAP Business Warehouse or similar experience.
- Experience with SAP Data, with emphasis on end‑to‑end data flow between data and business processes.
- Experience in Customer Service or Aftermarket.
- Experience with data cleansing and migration tools (e.g., SAP Advanced Data Migration, Transformation Cockpit).
- Proficiency with agile project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work laterally across business units and corporate functions.
- Solid communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem‑solving, system‑thinking, and attention to detail.
- Understanding of RTX’s Core Operating System.
