Job Title: Digital Business Analyst & Test Lead (HR Systems)
Location: Waterloo, ON (Open to Toronto)
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Duration: 18-month contract
Overview
We are hiring a Digital Business Analyst & Test Lead to support global HR technology initiatives with our client in the financial services industry. This role combines business analysis with hands‑on test leadership, working closely with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver high‑quality system enhancements and releases.
Top Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and system requirements
- Own test strategy, planning, execution, and defect management
- Lead UAT cycles, including scripting, coordination, and sign-off
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and vendors on system integrations and releases
- Track quality metrics and drive continuous improvement
Key Requirements
- 3+ years experience in HR Systems / Business Systems Analysis
- Robust hands‑on experience as a Test Lead (UAT, regression, defect triage)
- Experience with HR platforms (Workday, Cornerstone, or similar)
- Proficiency with JIRA, Test Plans/Xray, SDLC methodologies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
