This role supports the upcoming capital construction program on the North Coast over the next decade, with opportunities to work closely with Construction, Engineering, Equipment Testing and Commissioning, and Maintenance teams.What you’ll doUse your technical expertise in electrical equipment, protection and control (P&C) design, construction and testing to resolve complex technical queries and problems by coordinating design engineers and contractors to keep construction and commissioning on trackDevelop and oversee all technical aspects of field engineering for construction and commissioning of new electrical and P&C equipment, including switchgear, transformers, electrical protection, generator/turbine control and monitoring, communication networks, and instrumentation systemsProvide construction oversight on major projects, reviewing constructability and developing plans, schedules, procedures, and construction/commissioning methods to ensure conformancePerform first-level quality assurance to confirm execution of work adheres to plans, specifications, drawings, and industry standardsEnsure tests and inspections are performed, witnessed,
