If you have an affinity for software, strong communication skills, and a passion for technology, you will enjoy working with some of the best people in the industry at Canonical.ResponsibilitiesProvide account leadership and insight for Canonical's key Tier 1 Enterprise Public Cloud accounts; collaborate with Software Engineering through Senior Level Executives.Manage multiple blue-chip company projects simultaneously and shape the SoW or similar agreements with clients.Manage projects through their life-cycles,



ensuring goals for both Canonical and the client are met.Identify and mitigate technical and project risks and issues; maintain strong customer focus with all key stakeholders.Conduct regular status meetings and business reviews with customers and provide direction when needed; Manage the delivery schedule of critical third-party deliverables for the project; Identify and manage cross-organization engineering requests not part of existing contracts; Advocate to customers for appropriate technologies from Canonical's portfolio.What we are looking forProven background in IT Cloud industry as a software development project manager, IT program/project manager, agile software manager or scrum masterDeep understanding of Linux, open source, and the public cloud spaceSoftware engineering experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishExperience leading cross-cultural, remote and global project teams and customersStrong negotiation and influencing skillsStrong communication skillsBachelor's Degree in a STEM disciplineProject Management Certification, preferably PMP or equivalentAgile Project Management certification, preferably Scrum Master or equivalentAbility and willingness to travel domestically and internationallyWhat we offer colleaguesWe consider geographical location, experience, and performance in shaping compensation worldwide.
