Reporting to the Manager, the Senior Project Manager will lead the Asset Management & Field Services team responsible for providing essential frontline PCS operational support and asset management of the Toronto Water Division’s SCADA/PLC software and hardware. The Senior Project Manager works as part of a larger integrated support team which functions as the centralized point of contact for all PCS‑related activities across Toronto Water and the Engineering & Construction Services divisions. The Unit delivers specialized expertise through the following functional areas of responsibility:



Network Services; Asset Management & Field Services; Automation & Programming Solutions; Governance & Quality Assurance; and Design & Engineering. Major Responsibilities Develops, reviews and implements detailed plans and/or recommends policies regarding program specific requirements. Manages and provides leadership for complex industrial control system projects from conceptual design to full implementation. Assesses funding, schedule, scope requirements, develops Terms of Reference, fully defines project deliverables and manages changing conditions. Ensures effective teamwork, communication, high standards of work quality, organizational performance, documentation and continuous learning. Responsible for end‑to‑end management of SCADA and PLC systems, including hardware and software assets, licensing, lifecycle planning, budgeting, security administration, and user access control. Provides subject‑matter expertise for system troubleshooting, programming, and security, as well as delivery of Factory and Site Acceptance Testing. Supports 24/7 emergency response for PCS outages to ensure continuous operations. Conducts research ensuring that best practices, developments within the automation and process control system field, corporate policies, legislation and initiatives by other levels of government are taken into
