As a School Age Leader, you will work Monday through Friday providing essential support and inclusion practices for children in a before and after school program. Your role includes building relationships with children and families, guiding behavior positively, and designing creative programs that align with YMCA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support children's participation and engagement in activities
• Collaborate on individualized care and support plans
• Implement effective behavior support strategies
• Create indoor and outdoor engaging programs
• Maintain safety and compliance with health standards
Requirements:
• Minimum of 19 years of age
• Experience with diverse needs in childcare/settings
• Understanding of positive youth development practices
• Ability to work collaboratively in a rapid-paced environment
• Obtain a clear Criminal Record Check before employment
