As a Health Care Aide (HCA) or Caregiver, you will work under the guidance of a Care Coordinator. Your role is vital to our clients dealing with medical and age-related challenges. The position requires a caring demeanor and tasks like meal preparation, light housekeeping, and providing companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to client needs
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean setting
• Accompany clients on outings for social engagement
• Manage medication reminders and assist with ambulation
Requirements:
• Valid Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or obtain soon
• Willingness to complete CRC for Vulnerable Sector
• Ability to travel within Greater Vancouver
• Access to internet and smartphone for communication
