At Hennick Humber Hospital, we are looking for a Registered Practical Nurse for the Surgical Inpatient Unit 11 East & West. This part-time position offers rotating shifts focused on delivering compassionate patient care.
As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will engage in a variety of key nursing tasks that include caring for post-surgical patients and providing health education. Your background in acute surgical care and knowledge of patient health management will greatly enhance the recovery experiences of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer intramuscular injections and manage IV therapy
• Provide wound care and medication administration
• Conduct patient assessments and teach health practices




• Document patient progress and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Uphold the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion in care
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Registered Practical Nursing program
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred
• Current BCLS certification required
• Strong understanding of community resources is beneficial
