Contract Details
6 month fixed‑term employee contract initially, with a likelihood of extension. Vancouver, remote.
Job Purpose
Senior Account Executive in our Global Studios team. Responsible for managing creative and technical projects across accounts, ensuring consistent and successful delivery of multiple campaigns. Works closely with designers, copywriters, and the accounts team to meet client objectives and deliver on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage, draft and review client briefs.
- Ensure client deadlines are met across multiple campaigns, liaising with the Account Director on team capacity.
- Manage workflows across time zones, ensuring clear communication and effective management of tasks.
- Distill and transfer client feedback to designers and copywriters.
- Prioritise workloads for the team and elevate issues when necessary.
- Maintain client requirements whilst protecting DEPT® brand values.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of clients’ businesses, strategies, objectives, brands, audiences and challenges, advising on the communications solution that best meets their needs and becoming a trusted adviser.
- Build excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders through meetings, video conferences, planning sessions and evaluation reviews.
- Ensure high standards are maintained and add value wherever possible.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget and to agreed success criteria.
- Stay informed on all DEPT® products and services, actively promoting them to clients.
- Escalate issues to senior management that might impact accounts positively or negatively.
Requirements
- Project management experience in creative or tech marketing.
- Experience delivering multi‑channel marketing communications, including digital.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Aspiring to think strategically and contribute new ideas to the agency.
- Can work within tight deadlines and short timeframes,
managing schedules and priorities.
- Motivated to learn, grow and improve.
- Personable, approachable demeanour and motivated team player.
- Moderate understanding of production and interactive processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Superb planning and organisational ability.
- Ability to manage and develop client and supplier relationships.
- Basic understanding of financials to manage budgets effectively.

Compensation
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $60,000 – $70,000 CAD, based on relevant experience, expertise and organisational impact.
