Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. is seeking an Underground Service Crew member at the Red Chris Mine. This FIFO role focuses on vital installation and maintenance of underground systems.
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be entrusted with installing, repairing, and maintaining essential underground services including air and water systems. Your work will emphasize safety and adherence to regulatory standards while supporting the mine's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations on site
• Install and repair air/water lines and electric cables
• Assist in construction activities like ventilation walls
• Use hand tools and maintain workspace cleanliness
• Ensure compliance with PPE requirements
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent necessary
• 2-3 years of relevant underground experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License mandatory; manual experience plus
• Proficient in following verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams
