The firm is known for combining technical excellence with a collaborative culture, providing employees with meaningful mentorship, leadership development, and clear pathways for career growth.About the OpportunityAs aSenior Manager – Audit, you’ll lead high-profile assurance and advisory engagements, oversee engagement teams, and provide strategic direction to both clients and internal stakeholders. This position is ideal for a CPA who thrives in a client-facing leadership role and enjoys balancing technical depth with people development. You’ll also collaborate with firm leadership on business development and practice innovation initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage complex audit and assurance engagements across diverse industriesOversee engagement planning,
risk management, and deliverables to ensure technical accuracy and qualityReview and sign off on financial statements under ASPE and IFRSPartner with firm leadership on client acquisition, retention, and expansion opportunitiesCoach, mentor, and review the work of Managers, Seniors, and junior staffIdentify areas for process improvement and contribute to firm-wide quality and efficiency initiativesRepresent the firm in professional communities and help build its external presenceThe RequirementsCPA designation (CA, CGA, or CMA) in good standingMinimum 7 years of public practice experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership capacityStrong technical knowledge of ASPE, IFRS, and Canadian assurance standardsProven experience managing multiple engagements and client relationships simultaneouslyExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsPassion for developing people and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented cultureBusiness development experience considered a strong assetCompensation & PerksCompetitive base salary starting from $120,000 (commensurate with experience)Comprehensive health and dental perks packageFlexible hybrid work arrangements and customized scheduling optionsPaid professional development and CPA duesSupportive and inclusive culture with a focus on leadership developmentOpportunities to contribute to firm-wide strategic initiatives#J-18808-Ljbffr
