Our work is grounded in data‐informed, value‐driven practices and industry standards, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency and well‐documented processes and tools.We are seeking a Senior UX Design Developer to support Data and AI Innovation for Sales. In this role you will shape and optimise user‐centric experiences for data and AI solutions used by a global sales organisation. You will balance UX research, UI design, user flows and application design to improve how solutions are delivered at scale, while aligning experiences with business goals.Working closely with your Engineering Manager and cross‐functional partners, you will analyse, design and continuously improve user experiences using industry‐standard methods and tools. You will contribute to streamlining workflows, enhancing efficiency and quality and increasing customer satisfaction. You may also provide guidance and enablement to internal users of the solutions you help deliver.Key ResponsibilitiesUI Design System AlignmentDesign user interfaces technically based on the Siemens UX design system, ensuring consistency and brand alignment across all applications.UX Development & Quality AssuranceDevelop and rigorously quality‐check the user experience of applications, ensuring they meet high standards of usability, accessibility and performance.User Flow Research & OptimizationConduct in‐depth research into the best user flows for specific use cases,
optimising the user journey for the expected users of the application.Multi‐functional Collaboration & Process ImprovementCollaborate with multi‐functional teams to understand business requirements for improvement strategies. This involves conducting thorough analysis of current business processes, practices, and tooling within the assigned field to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and areas for improvement.Agile Implementation & OptimisationUnder the guidance of an Engineering Manager, apply agile methodologies to design, develop and implement optimised practices, processes and tooling that increase efficiency, improve quality and grow productivity.Advocacy & AdoptionSupport the execution of organisation‐wide initiatives as an advocate for customer, business and technical concerns. This includes helping to drive the adoption of improvements by multi‐functional teams and collaborating with partners to ensure effective implementation and monitor ongoing impact.Performance MeasurementDevelop and implement performance metrics and measurement systems to track progress and find opportunities for further improvement.Required Skills & ExperienceEducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a senior role.Front‐end development knowledgeDemonstrated ability in delivery of enterprise solutions as a Senior UX Designer, driving planning, implementation, quality and operations in a production environment, via AWS or any other Cloud Provider platform.Understanding AgileExperience working horizontally across multiple teams, with demonstrated work tracking and quality assurance using Behaviour‐Driven Development (BDD or equivalent) and Test‐Driven Development (TDD) to drive the SDLC.Proficiency in Process Analysis & Performance MetricsProficiency with UX research methodologies, such as A/B testing, cognitive walkthrough, behaviour analytics and usability metrics.Tailored CommunicationExperience documenting and verbally communicating project plans, business processes,
systems designs and development technical details to technical and non‐technical partners, employing design tools in high‐ or low‐fidelity renders when required.Complimentary QualificationsExperience working in a globally distributed organisation.Technical fitIn‐depth knowledge of cloud computing, distributed systems, data architecture and/or SaaS technologies.Business fitExperience in business‐driven design and development methodologies, with an in‐depth understanding of process engineering and data‐informed optimisation.Operational fitTwo or more years of experience in a research, design, develop, observe and renew development cycle with a proven portfolio.Exceptional QualificationsCorporate fitFamiliarity with the Siemens DISW portfolio and related product domains, such as PLM, CAD, CAM, CAE, IOT and others.Tooling fitExperience designing and developing for Salesforce, sales dashboards and AI interactive interfaces.Why You'll Love Working HereWorking at Siemens Software means flexibility – you can choose between working at home or in the office.
