Become part of Baycrest Hospital's Inpatient Psychiatry Program as a Registered Practical Nurse. This temporary full time position focuses on holistic care for older adults facing mental health challenges.
You will work within a dedicated interdisciplinary team, aiming to provide personalized care to clients with complex mental health disorders. As part of your role, you will plan and evaluate nursing interventions, while also collaborating closely with Registered Nurses to ensure the highest quality of care. Day-night shifts include working alternate weekends within a supportive union environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver and assess nursing interventions within defined RPN practice




• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to cater to clients' needs
• Revise and manage individualized care plans with Registered Nurses
Requirements:
• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C certification
• Preferred experience in psychogeriatrics and responsive behaviours
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Basic skills in Meditech, Word, and Excel
