Join the University of Toronto as an IT Network and Systems Administrator. This full time position in downtown Toronto specializes in enhancing and securing the Faculty's network infrastructure and cloud services.
You will play a vital role within the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education, focusing on planning and executing critical network services and infrastructure improvements. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will ensure that robust solutions are implemented to support the Faculty's operations and research initiatives. Your strategic insight will shape the future of KPE's IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help in long-term planning for network infrastructure
• Plan and administer cloud and hybrid services
• Support core operating systems, including Windows and Linux




• Maintain operational security and integrity
• Monitor and improve network availability and performance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent experience
• At least five years of IT experience in complex environments
• Three years of experience in Windows and Linux administration
• Cloud platform knowledge beneficial
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
