The Clinical Care Program at CAMH is looking for a part-time Registered Nurse to support its diverse patient population in a 25-bed unit. This role emphasizes providing holistic, client-centered nursing care in a mental health setting. Successful candidates will engage in reflective practices, support program development, and lead group programming while collaborating with an inter-professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Exhibit solid communication skills with clients and staff
• Monitor and assess mental and physical health
• Develop knowledge in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care




• Facilitate engaging group sessions for clients
• Contribute to ongoing research and program enhancement
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Valid B.C.L.S. (CPR) certificate necessary
• BSCN or CNA certification in psychiatric care preferred
• Gerate nurse-client relationships using effective leadership
• Computer literacy required for patient documentation
