Lac La Ronge Indian Band invites applications for three permanent Support Worker positions in the Treatment Department. Successful candidates must have 2 years of experience and a profound respect for First Nations traditions. Duties involve participant supervision, cultural activity facilitation, and maintaining safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome participants and provide orientation
• Supervise and facilitate participant homework and activities
• Execute fire drills and emergency evacuations as required
• Transport participants safely to their appointments or meetings
• Maintain logs and report on participant medication administration
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent necessary
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant field
• Understanding of Aboriginal customs is preferred
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and dependable vehicle required
• Recent Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check needed
Aid in providing a safe and supportive setting for participants at the Woodland Wellness Centre.
