ATCO Structures & Logistics is seeking a registered Carpenter Journeyman for our Grimsby Manufacturing Plant. This full-time position emphasizes constructing, installing, and repairing various wooden structures and adhering to building codes.
As a Carpenter Journeyman, you will assist in building frameworks, installing custom fixtures, and remodeling existing structures while ensuring quality and safety standards. With your ability to interpret blueprints and work collaboratively, you will help create functional spaces. This position provides a supportive work setting with a focus on job satisfaction and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct and erect house frameworks and roofs
• Install flooring, cabinets, and other fixtures
• Repair existing structures ensuring quality workmanship
• Read and interpret technical drawings daily
• Select materials and prepare for projects accurately
Requirements:
• Certified Carpenter Journeyman status
• Experience with modular units advantageous
• Blueprint reading proficiency
• Skillful with hand and power tools
• Team-oriented work ethic
