Location: Park Royal, BC
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (7.5 hours/day)
Duration: 3-Month Contract with Potential Extension
Pay Rate: $45–$50/hour
Are you an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced workplace and enjoys partnering with leaders to drive people-focused solutions? We are seeking an HR Business Partner to support a diverse client group by providing both strategic and operational human resources expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leaders, managers, and employees to provide guidance on a broad range of HR matters, including employee relations, organizational development, workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, disability management, attendance management, onboarding, offboarding, training and development, workplace investigations, and employee wellness.
- Develop a strong understanding of business objectives and collaborate with leaders to align HR strategies with operational goals.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for designated client groups, building trusted relationships and delivering responsive HR support.
- Provide coaching, advice, and interpretation of policies, collective agreements, employment legislation, and HR best practices.
- Investigate complex employee relations matters and develop practical solutions that balance business needs, compliance requirements, and employee experience.
- Create and implement HR action plans to support both short-term priorities and long-term organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, collective agreements, and applicable employment legislation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with a specialization in Human Resources.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience managing complex employee and organizational issues.
- Experience supporting both unionized and non-unionized workforces.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, labour relations, employment legislation, performance management, and organizational development.
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and build strong relationships with leaders at various levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
