Join Canal District as a skilled Zamboni Driver and Property Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety and appeal of our recreational facilities in Sault Ste. Marie. This hands-on role spans various outdoor maintenance tasks throughout the year.
This full-time or part-time position requires expertise in property and grounds maintenance while operating various equipment, including Zamboni machines for ice resurfacing. You will help provide a welcoming, clean workplace for guests and manage public spaces effectively, ensuring they remain functional and beautiful.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate mowing and landscaping equipment for property upkeep
• Maintain ice surfaces and assist with rink operations
• Conduct routine inspections and perform minor repairs




• Manage public area cleanliness and support events
• Safely operate vehicles and maintenance equipment
Requirements:
• Experience in property maintenance or groundskeeping preferred
• Certification in Zamboni operation is a plus
• Ability to work independently and handle physical tasks
• Valid driver's license required
• Availability for flexible hours and various weather conditions
