Title: Health Coach

Salary: $91,172 - $107,261 - $123,351 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract: Permanent Full-Time

Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm

Location: Campbell River - located on the ancestral lands of the Lig ?? ildax ? Onsite – Travel across the Vancouver Island Region is required.

About The Role

The Health Coach role provides opportunities to walk alongside families during their perinatal journeys – which is such a sacred time in the lives of the expecting/ new families. Working in collaboration with the Kwakwaka’wakw Maternal, Child and Family Health team, local partners in maternity care, our nations/ First Nations families and regional team is what strengthens services/ supports, provides wraparound care and aligns with our vision of creating excellence in maternity care for the North Island. Our Health Coaches also play a role in ensuring our families have access to cultural supports from our Elders, knowledge keepers, healers, etc.; and, with that have an opportunity to enhance their own learning journeys.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have/be

Education





- Bachelor of Social Work and registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Occupational Certification

- BC Driver’s License- class 5

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
