OverviewWe're looking for a Sr. Civil Engineer for our Prevention, Practice, Quality, and Engineering department. We are seeking candidates with a Geotechnical, Structural, or Construction specialty and expertise in slope stability, shoring, excavations, demolition, and temporary works (e.G., formwork, falsework, scaffolding, suspended work platforms). In this role, you will work with prevention officers and other occupational health and safety professionals to make a meaningful difference in the safety of workers across British Columbia.Our Prevention Practice, Quality & Engineering department provides expert technical advice and direction to WorkSafeBC on matters relating to the field of engineering and safety research. We make recommendations and provide opinions to WorkSafeBC to improve occupational health and safety in B.C. workplaces.
