The Garry Hurvitz Centre for Community Mental Health (GH-CCMH) seeks a Research Assistant to aid the Centre’s research initiatives. This role involves interfacing with diverse clients and parents, managing data, and supporting research monitoring activities. Your contributions will directly impact mental health services for youth in Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct data collection and management for research projects
• Interface with clients and community members from diverse backgrounds
• Develop and maintain Research Ethics Board (REB) applications
• Monitor project timelines and deliverables
• Assist with literature reviews and grant proposals
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in a health-related field and two years of relevant research experience
• Strong understanding of research design and ethics
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficiency in SPSS, Excel, and research-related software
