OverviewDirector Corporate Financial Reporting – ICOFR at Canada Life – permanent, full‑time. This role reports to the AVP, Corporate Financial Reporting – ICOFR and contributes to the ongoing enhancement of the company’s global Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) program.ResponsibilitiesProvide monitoring and advisory support to operating segments, IT risk and compliance teams, and business units over the scoping, improvement, and greenlighting of IT general controls.Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure alignment, audit readiness, and address IT findings.Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.Prepare global ITGC updates, assessment results, and potential gaps for senior management, the audit committee, and other stakeholders.Coach and mentor team members, developing them into future leaders.QualificationsProgressive experience in IT risk and controls for at least five years.CPA or other relevant designation (e.G., CISA) is a strong asset.Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards, including COSO, COBIT, NIST,
