In the Solo With Supports Program, as a Youth Worker, you will provide hands-on support for a caseload of youth. Your role is vital in helping them build confidence and skills necessary for adulthood, while collaborating with families and community resources. You will be responsible for planning, advocacy, and meticulous documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist youth in developing essential life skills
• Create and monitor personalized Service Plans
• Foster collaboration among families and support networks
• Ensure accurate reports and case documentation
• Advocate for youth in accessing community resources
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in related youth care fields
• Two years of experience with young people
• Current eligibility to work in Canada
• Valid Alberta Driver's License required
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and engaging physically
