As a Senior Staff Software Developer for the Software Platform (SP) organization in Toronto, you will be at the forefront of this historic cultural and financial shift, serving as the senior-most individual contributor and a technical leader across five SP teams - Networking, Observability, Compute, Provisioning, and Storage. Your mission is to increase developer velocity and ensure system reliability at scale by delivering robust, scalable, and secure systems.What you’ll do:Lead architecture, strategy, and technical direction across SP teams, driving end-to-end system design and alignment.Build scalable, reliable infrastructure systems.Collaborate with engineering leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to solve technical challenges and define best practices.Act as a mentor and technical leader, sharing expertise and fostering growth across teams.Own roadmapping and delivery of critical platform initiatives, including service mesh implementation and infrastructure modernization.What you bring:10+ years of software engineering experience,



with 3+ years in a Staff or Senior Staff role.Proven track record in technical leadership, system design, and architecture at scale.Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering initiatives and shipping platform-wide improvements.Experience with cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes, AWS, gRPC, and related tools.Robust communication skills with the ability to influence and align diverse technical stakeholders.Hands-on experience with observability, compute, storage, and provisioning platforms; prior experience in infrastructure or platform engineering preferred.Benefits:This role is eligible for bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits.
